In August 2000, a big film franchise was announced, and with it, the young cast that were to play the title characters of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. On that day the world was introduced to Emma Watson. Emma was 9 years old, and had never had an acting credit before. Her first role ever was to be the biggest franchise in recent history. In this series, i'll be looking back at Emma's career and following along as she left Hermione behind, but for now, let's start at the beginning. Filming began, Emma was said to have hated her hair and although she was to wear fake teeth for Hermione (she lost a tooth just days before filming!) they weren't needed, as she found it hard to talk with them in. Hermione Granger was read to hit the screen. Take a look behind the scenes: The Promotion:Then came the promoti0n, Emma's first promoti0nal tour went from London to New York, where the actors attended premiere, and conferences to promote the film. Along with the promotions came interviews, here's a selection of them below. Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone started Emma Watson on a path to stardom, and this series will see every moment! Hope you have enjoyed this first installment and check back xx
