As sensible, bookish Hermione in the Harry Potter films, Emma Watson has grown up on the silver screen. Now sassy, sussed and seventeen, there's no doubt she's a star in the making.
With a pinch of attitude, a smudge of makeup, and a yard of silk, Emma Watson, the most famous schoolgirl on the planet, is transformed, is transformed into a fifties rockabilly chick. "I love the ,"clothes and that there's so much colour," says the fashion-loving 17 year old, who was catapulted to stardom as Hermione Granger. "I wish i could dress like this every day of my life."
Emma had to get red-carpet savvy from a young age so, when ti comes to premieres, she's a sassy dresser and shuns the services of a stylist. "Getting someone else to choose things takes the fun out of it," insists the confident teenager.
For her new TV film Ballet Shoes, Emma plays Pauline, a orphan who dreams of becoming an actress. "She remind me alot of me when i was young" she laughs "I was such a drama queen". When she's not working Emma splits her time between her mums house in Oxford and her dad's in London. juggling A-levels, driving lessons, and a hectic social life. "literally for the last few weekends, I've been at an 18th birthday party.
