HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (2004)
See in depth look HERE.
Firstly, this is my favourite in the HP Series, so i may be a little biased.
Emma really makes Hermione her own in this one! While the first two were getting to know the character (she'd barely in the last half of Chamber of Secrets), Emma really brings Hermione out of the classroom.
"She's gone mental Hermione has, not that she wasn't always mental, but now it's out there for the whole world to see!" - Ron Weasley.
Hermione is fierce, independent and even goes against the teachers! She's even a bit cheeky, and rebellious. From that famous punch of Draco Malfoy, to breaking the rules, and standing upto a teacher when they suggest she's not able to do the assignment, i'm with her after Trelawney's comment, she comes out of her shell and her fierce nature is revealed.
Emma really got into it this time, from doing many stunts, to showing the boys up when asked to write an essay on her character she did 30 pages! Emma understands Hermione perfectly.
When Harry thinks Sirius Black to out to kill him, he vows to go after him, and after been attacked by the whomping willow, after Ron is taken by Sirius (he's going for the rat, poor Ron gets in the way) It's Hermione who gets him in, Figures out Remus is a Werewolf, did everyone else figure it out pretty easy though? They didn't make it hard. It's Hermione that saves Harry's life when they go back in time to help Sirius and it's Hermione that breaks Sirius out of prison, she's girl power in this film, she's always on the go!
The aesthetic with this film is also why it's a favourite, it stands out, Alfonso Cuaron is a incredible director, the whole tone of the film is gorgeously dark but draws you in.
There's so many great moments in this film, It's about Harry Potter but in this one Hermione was the star.
