See an indeph look HERE.
The 5th installment in the Potter franchise, Harry and the others now face the prospect of Voldemort's future plans, Harry not only faces not been believed, but his own torment as more similarities appear between himself and the dark lord.
Hermione and Ron explain about the Order of the Phoenix, a secret organisation, that was once before when Voldemort was in power. Harry's emotions are all over the place with kept in the dark, Dumbledore has already figured out in the Goblet of Fire that their minds are connected somehow, and by staying away and ignoring Harry's struggles, he can stop Voldemort from discovering it. Of course this backfires and not only puts everyone including Harry in grave danger, but also makes him feel more isolated and alone and doesn't help his mental state.
Hermione is again thrust into helping protect her friends, and this time she breaks rules gladly in order to outwit the worst teacher Hogwarts has ever had, Delores Umbridge. I could say many swear words as i'm sure McGonagall wanted too. Umbridge takes a medieval approach to teaching, by the book, but with no practical, so they aren't learning atall. In one scene where Umbridge is handing out books she says "no need to talk", and Hermione whispers "no need to think is more like it." Taking upon herself to convince Harry to start a revolution and fight back. Specially after she see's that she's torturing students,
After Neville accidently finds the room of requirement, students learn to defend themselves, with Malfoy and his cronies trying to find them out with hilarious results.
"It's sort of exciting isn't it? breaking the rules!" - Hermione.
She then perceives to kick Ron's ass when practicing the Stupify charm with great flare.
It is Hermione that saves Harry from the Cruciatus curse, by leading Umbridge to where she thinks Gwarp is, Hagrid's half brother. When he is missing and Umbridge attacks a centaur all hell breaks loose and she finally gets what she deserves.
The climatic scene is exciting and heartbreaking, when the group are attacked in the department of mysteries after locating the prophecy which will help Harry understand what must be done in order to defeat Voldemort, the Order come to help. However, Sirius is killed and Harry loses the last of his family. The Dursleys are family but hey, come on, not really.
The tone of this film is darker, but it has it's funny moments and Emma as usual put's Hermione Granger centre stage.
